I find that my thoughts often influenced my actions, so it is hard not to have certain thoughts and not feel overwhelmed by OCD. If you get to the point where you start to feel like a nervous wreak you should really go on medication. In fact, you shouldn't allow yourself to get to that point. Seeing a doctor now a days is easy. So many people have anxiety and depression now a days that it's very common to go to your doctor for some help with it. Trust me when I say that you shouldn't suffer with those feelings that you are having. Go see a doctor and get some help. Let us know how it goes from time to time. Good luck!

Well it's been a few month's and I can honestly say it's still not easy but it gets easier.
I can only control my actions but not my thoughts. I feel like I offend God everyday. I want to go to Church everyday, and receive Holy Communion without having sins on my soul. With this condition it's basically impossible. I counter this by saying it's not me, it's my OCD and the Lord understands. I'm not sure about the drug thing yet. I'm still praying and doing research on other methods of treatment. To my Spiritual family in Heaven, "I Love you", and please understand.

Hi,

Being a Christian myself I can say I only thank the Lord when I mean it. Maybe you should try to only say it when you truly mean it. It's more natural and genuine that way. It's Ok to go to your doctor for some help with OCD, because if you are constantly doing something like that then it's just plain old OCD. Medication can really help. Trust me I had a touch of OCD myself, I got on meds for a few years and now it's totally gone. It hasn't come back and I've been off my medication for a while now, but trust me, medication does help.

Hi,

Maybe you are just very anxious when you drive. There is anti-anxiety medication out there that will take those feelings away. Sometimes in life we need a little extra help to calm our thoughts down at times. I know I did! So talk to your doctor about it.

OCD scrupulosity is the worst. It can leave you drained and frustrated. All I want to do is thank and praise the Lord. Which isn't a bad thing at all, it's just so redundant. It also leaves you confused. I will carry on this way if it is the Lord's will.

I was at my psychologist not so long ago and I took a little test to see if I had social anxiety/phobia, I knew I had it but we wanted to see how much etc. But there is such a test. If it is only from the psychologist I went to or if its international or something, I don't know, but it does exist :) And it showed I had more social phobia than I realized.
